(Name) tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for (f/n) to get out of the store. Sometimes she took forever! "Would you hurry up in there?! England's going to be expecting me home soon!" She sighed, now even more impatient. Since (Name) lost her parents to a strange sickness three months ago, England was nice enough to take her in, even when she was a handful.
"Why don't you go back without me, (Name)?" (F/n) replied from inside the store. "Oh yeah, I have the key, and I still need to go home... I'LL BE RIGHT OUT!" She finished her shopping and ran out to meet (Name). "Ready?" She smiled.
(Name) nodded. "I've been ready for the past ten minutes, (f/n). Let's go." She set a fast pace for her friend to keep up with. They reached the car England had lent to them for the day and (Name) got in first.
(F/n) drove her home and got out. "I'll see you later, (Name)! My mum just called! Bye!" She ran down the street to her house and opened the door. Soon, she was gone.
(Name) sighed and knocked on England's door. She made sure to take off her shoes before stepping in when... England didn't open the door. "Oh, thank you, sir." She thanked the strange man. He didn't look like anyone she's met before. His hair was bright red and he was smoking a cigar.
"It's no big deal, lassy." He replied. He had a heavy Scottish accent. "England's not home at the moment, but he'll be home soon." He lead her in to the living room where two more unfamiliar men were sitting. They all looked like they were related.
Something clicked in (Name's) head at that moment. "You guys must be England's brothers!" She smiled, happy with herself.
The Scot nodded. "Yes, we're his brothers. I'm Scotland, the one with the clover in his hair is Ireland, and the one with the scowl on his face is Wales. Lighten up, mister." Scotland walked over to Wales and forced him to smile, causing (Name) to laugh.
Ireland smiled. He looked like a small child with his facial features. "What's your name, miss?" He asked politely.
"I'm (Name) (Last Name). Just call me (Name)." She smiled brightly at them. She felt her face heat up a little when she looked at Scotland. Why am I blushing? I don't like him... Do I? She'd always been unsure of herself when it came to who she liked. "I'm going to go put my jacket in my room." She left quickly and sat down on her bed. "Phew..." She flopped back and felt around for her iPod. Japan had gotten her an iPod for her (y/a) birthday, and she had all sorts of different songs on it. She turned it on and started blasting (f/s) until she heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" She called.
Scotland opened the door and stepped in. "Ya never came back, Lassy. Ireland got worried." He smiled slightly when he noticed her blush. She's awful cute when she blushes. "Do you mind if I come sit with you?"
(Name) shook her head. "No, it's fine." She moved over to make room for him to sit down. She turned off her iPod and put it down beside her. Scotland came and sat with her and they talked about different things. Soon it got late and (Name) yawned. She leaned on his shoulder and fell asleep.
Scotland wrapped his arms around her and whispered in her ear "Sleep well lassy."
