A/N: If you haven't watched Uta no Prince Sama yet, you totally should. It's amazing. :3 I might write fics for the others as I see fit. Requests are still on hold, sorry! D:

Also, I use the character's first names after introducing them to the story.

A/N End
---------------

You could hear frantic yelling behind you, even though you had no idea what was being yelled until the yelling got closer. "[NAME]!!! Run!!" The voice of your best friend, Kurusu Syo, yelled as soon as he rounded the corner of the hallway you were currently in. "NATSUKI MADE COOKIES!!" Your short friend came bolting at you, reaching out his hand and taking your wrist before taking off once more, causing you to stumble a bit.

Another voice could be heard not too far away. "Syo-chan~! [Name]-chan~! You absolutely must try my cookies~!" Shinomiya Natsuki, your other friend, chimed from the other end of the hallway. He was currently dressed in all pink with a very girly, frilly, apron on and- is that a bow in his hair?! Man, sometimes you worry for this boy's mental health. At any rate, Natsuki was gaining on you and Syo. Something had to be done.

You paused a moment before changing the way Syo was holding you and ran ahead of him, making a turn up the stairs as quickly as you could. This time, it was Syo's turn to stumble a bit and stare at you in confusion. "Trust me on this!" You called behind you, turning your head slightly and smiling a bit at the short blond behind you.

Syo blushed slightly and nodded, letting you take him where you wanted. Before too long, Natsuki had caught up and tried to grab his short friend. "Come here, ochibi-chan~!" He made grabby hands at the short male, which resulted in Syo's short outburst of rage and a much longer burst of speed from fear of the deadly cookies. "AAAAH! No! I won't eat them!" Syo exclaimed quite loudly and ran ahead of you again.

This pattern seemed to go on forever until the three of you found yourselves on the roof. Not the ideal place for Syo, since he's afraid of heights, and not exactly where you had wanted to end up, either, but it would have to do for the time being. Maybe you'd see Tokiya or Ren up here and Natsuki would kill them instead of you two. No such luck. Damn them. You'd have to form another escape plan; and fast. Syo looks like he's about to faint.

Natsuki was gaining ground on you. "[Name]-chaaaan~! You'll try my cookies, right~?" He asked you sweetly, putting on his cutest puppy dog face everyone in the academy knew you were a sucker for. Sometimes you really wished he wouldn't do that. Now was one of those times. The tall blond started walking toward you, still pulling that too cute face you just couldn't resist. "I won't bother you the rest of the week to eat my sweets if you try it~!" Oh, now he was bribing you? Great.

With Mister I'm-too-scared-of-heights-to-actually-help-you freaking out beside you, you really had no other choice than to try the crazy eighteen year old's poisonous cookies. You let out a long sigh of defeat and pried Syo's hand off your wrist before going up to Natsuki cautiously. You didn't want to let him stuff the entire basket of the burnt concoctions he calls cookies in your mouth. That would just be stupid. "You are absolutely insane." You told your friend as you took one of the burnt death cookies into your hand.

Natsuki beamed at you, the comment completely flying over his head. He watched you as you gingerly plopped the black cookie in your mouth and chewed a bit. "It's good, isn't it~?" He asked you sweetly, getting closer to your face. His green eyes sparkled with delight as you forced yourself to swallow and smile, nodding a bit. "Oh good~! I'm so glad you like it~!" He laughed, then turned to Syo, who had been slowly calming himself down in the corner.

"Oh no you don't, nut job." Syo shook his head vigorously and put his hands in front of him defensively. "You may be able to get [Name] to eat those death traps, but it's not gonna happen with me." He crossed his arms and puffed out his cheeks. It struck you as absolutely adorable and you covered your mouth to keep from laughing outright at your friends' demise.

Not five seconds after Syo finished talking was Natsuki standing behind him at the edge of the roof, smiling devilishly and holding a cookie out to his short friend. "Eat the cookie, ochibi-chan~!" Natsuki ordered. His tone of voice definitely did not match the order he was giving his terrified friend. You could only stand and watch as Syo shook his head frantically, trying desperately to back up off the edge of the roof. It might have just been you, but he looked like he was about to cry. Poor thing.

"I-If I eat the cookie, you'll let me down...?" Syo whimpered as he shakily looked down at Natsuki, who nodded quickly. After a short pause, the shorter male spoke up again. "Then give me the cookie!" He yelled, motioning for Natsuki to give him the cookie that was currently being held by his taller friend.

"Ah-ah, Syo-chan~! Ask politely for the cookie~!" Natsuki teased. Who knew he could be so... Demanding and cruel? Well, not exactly cruel, but you get the gist of it. He was demanding Syo to ask politely when it's blatantly obvious Syo has had it up to his neck with Natsuki and his stupid cookies. "Come on, Syo-chan~!"

Syo, who looked like he was about to either pass out or push Natsuki off the roof, turned slightly to look at his roommate. "F-Fine! M-May I please have the cookie?!" He asked, a bit more polite than last time. Well, at least he said "may I". Apparently that was good enough for Natsuki, because Syo was handed the abomination of a food item Natsuki called a cookie. The short idol quickly consumed the baked good and ran off the edge of the roof, sitting himself down in the middle of the roof, shaking like a Chihuahua.

You watched as Natsuki smiled and walked over you, gently slapping your back and leaning down to whisper into your ear. "[Name]-chan, you should go comfort him~." He ruffled your [h/c] [h/l] hair and stood up straight, winking at you. "We know. All of us do. Except him." He chuckled, and with that, he left the roof, yelling to Ittoki and Ren about eating his cookies. You just hoped they didn't get pulled into the same mess you and Syo were. Speaking of which, your friend was still on the ground.

You debated with yourself about following Natsuki to ask him how he knew you had a crush on Syo and comforting the boy in front of you. Eventually, you went with your heart and approached the short teen cautiously. Should I say anything to him? I know he gets touchy when he's scared. You did this for a while, wondering what to say, if you should say anything. Once you reached the blond you knelt beside him. Since you were in the idols' course, you could come up with something off the top of your head, but you decided you'd rather not. Instead, you opted for talking. "Syo...?"

Your voice startled the already scared teen and he looked at you with wide, dilated eyes. "Wh-What?" He questioned, looking you over for a second. You didn't notice the light pink that tinted your friends' cheeks, you were too concerned about his anxiety. You were quiet for a moment, which piqued Syo's curiosity. It didn't exactly quell his fear, but it lessened it slightly. He leaned in slightly, tilting his head a bit to look at your [e/c] eyes.

You watched your friend, slightly embarrassed. You really hadn't planned out what you were going to say to him before you said his name. Way to go, now you have to come up with something comforting off the top of your head. You never were good at that. Oh well, there's always a second - or a tenth, in your case - chance for everything. So, you took a deep breath and looked Syo in the eye, opening your mouth to speak. "Syo... If it will make you feel better... I can, um..." You trailed off a bit, trying to find the right words to say. "... I can sing something for you." You offered. Wow, was that really the best you could come up with?

But Syo looked positively pleased with that suggestion. His eyes sparkled a little in excitement and his entire body seemed to relax a bit. "I-If you wouldn't mind... I'd r-really like it if you'd sing something for me..." He said, a hint of sheepishness in his voice. Little did you know, Syo had developed feelings for you through the time you two had been in the S Class together. He loved everything about you. From the way you talked to the way you could stand up for anyone, he just found you absolutely perfect. But of course, you didn't know this. He wanted it to be the right moment to tell you.

You smiled a bit in relief. "Okay. Is there anything in particular you want me to sing for you?" You asked, placing your hands on your knees. When Syo shook his head slightly, you nodded and sat up straight, trying to think of a calming song you could sing for him. Eventually, you decided on "Wanderers Lullaby", a song your mother used to sing for you when you couldn't sleep. You took a deep breath and started to sing, closing your eyes and letting yourself get lost in the beautiful melody of the sweet song. Before you knew it, you finished the song. You opened your eyes to find Syo laying on the roof, his eyes closed.

He let out a sigh and smiled. "Thank you, [Name]. I needed that." He said and opened his cyan eyes to look at your [e/c] ones. You felt like you could get lost in those beautiful pools of blue, but thankfully the sound of Natsuki chasing Haruka and Ittoki around at the other end of the school distracted you. It would be embarrassing to find you had been staring at Syo longer than you expected. You blinked a few times and smiled, nodding to your short friend. "Of course, Syo. Anything for a friend." You said. It stung you a little to just say friend. You wished you had said something else.

Syo nodded and sat up, stretching and rolling his head slightly. There was a long, slightly uncomfortable silence between the two of you before he spoke up. "[Name], there's something I've been meaning to tell you..." Syo started nervously, playing with the bracelets on his wrists. He wouldn't look at you, instead he kept his gaze fixed on the floor in front of him. You could see a crimson blush creep its way onto the sixteen year old's face, and that caused you to have secondhand embarrassment. You weren't sure why, but you felt like this "something" was something very important to Syo.

You took a moment to compose yourself before speaking. "What is it, Syo? You know you can tell me anything." You said, trying your best to remain calm and collected. It was working pretty well on the outside, but your heart was racing and your mind was spinning. You weren't sure what you were going to do.

Syo sighed a bit and finally turned to look at you, that deep, crimson blush prominent on his pale skin. He took a shaky breath before moving so he was facing you completely and put one hand over yours. "[Name], I knew from the moment I met you you were something special." He paused. "You were different from the other female idols. You were a hardworking, honest, and friendly person... And you still are." He watched as your eyes got wider before continuing. "...What I really wanted to tell you is..."

You could almost feel your heartbeat in your ears. Syo was complementing you on things you had always told yourself were bad qualities. This was probably either the best day of your life or the worst, depending on how the conversation went. Don't screw up now, this could be your only chance to tell him how you really feel. You nodded slightly, trying to keep yourself from blurting everything out all of a sudden. "Is...?" You prompted, eager to know what it was Syo wanted to tell you.

The blond idol took a few moments to calm himself, working to get rid of his very obvious blush. It wasn't working. So he settled for just looking at you. "What I really wanted to tell you is... Is... [Name], I love you." Syo said, his entire face red by this point and his voice barely audible. You couldn't find the words to speak, but you tried anyway. The normally hotheaded boy watched you for any signs of rejection.

When you had gathered your wits about you enough to form comprehensible words and sentences, you spoke. "S-Syo... I had no idea." You started, feeling yourself smile a little bit and your face relax. Your heart slowed down slightly and you took a calming breath. "I... I feel the same way." You said. You watched as your friends' eyes widened in total surprise and blinked a few times. Apparently, that's not what he expected. You covered your mouth and giggled a little at his reaction to your confession. "I'm so glad you return my feelings."

Syo nodded a bit before you both stood up. He finally calmed himself down and smiled at you. "[Name], once we're done here at Saotome Academy, would you like to travel together?" He asked you out of the blue. At first you didn't know what to respond with, but you nodded in agreement anyway. "I would love to travel with you, Syo. ...But that means we'll have to fly in an airplane." You smirked a bit. It was the truth. Flying couldn't be avoided in travel.

Syo blinked a few times and looked over at you. "You mean... We'd be tens of thousands of feet in the air...?" He asked in disbelief. Wow, nice deduction skills. You nodded, smiling sweetly. "And, we'd be in the airplane for hours..." He continued as he slowly backed up. You nodded again, turning to watch him. Syo suddenly bumped into the edge of the roof and teetered backward a little bit before shooting forward and latching himself onto you. "Aaaah!" He squealed in fear, which almost caused you to laugh. In the distance, you could hear six voices laughing and out of the corner of your eye you saw Natsuki give you a thumbs up. You shook your head and smiled, prying Syo off you and holding his hand tightly. "How about we go back downstairs?" With a few quick nods from Syo, the two of you set off down the stairs, hand in hand.

~*Extended Ending*~

It had been a year since you and Syo graduated from Saotome Academy. It was your anniversary as a couple, so you both decided to travel to Europe and go through every country possible there, starting with Iceland. "We'll start Western and move toward the East" was how Syo decided it would go. But that would mean you'd have to have multiple layovers in other countries. You didn't quite understand, but you didn't argue. Instead, you decided to bring Natsuki and Ittoki with you two to spite your boyfriend.

Just as you four were about to board the airplane, you felt a tug on your hand. You turned around and looked at Syo, who was looking at the plane with discomfort. "It's not going to crash, is it, [Name]?" He asked for the umpteenth time that hour. You laughed and shook your head, pulling the blond on the plane with you. It was a large plane, for lengthy flights such as these. There were three seat rows, and, lucky you, you were seated between Syo and Ittoki. Natsuki was in the seat ahead of Ittoki at the window. You and Ittoki had decided to swap seats and Syo was now in the middle. Great idea. Now he can cling to both of you.

Before you were waiting too long, the plane started to taxi. Since you had taken Ittoki's window seat, you got to look out directly and see the scenery one last time before the plane stopped at the runway. You gently squeezed Syo's hand and smiled. "We're going to take off now." You told him. Almost as if on cue, then airplane started down the runway, picking up speed until it lifted off the ground. You smiled and closed your eyes, enjoying the flying sensation once more. Once the plane was done ascending, you looked out the window. "Wow, the ocean's so pretty!" You exclaimed quietly.

Syo, overtaken by curiosity, looked out the window and down. He immediately snapped back into his seat, shaking a bit. "Too high!" He whimpered slightly, causing Ittoki and Natsuki to laugh. You giggled along with them and closed the window, turning to face Syo. "Don't worry, it's only a twelve hour flight." You said. Syo sunk down in his seat and groaned. "That doesn't help..." He muttered. "It's still too high, no matter how you look at it."

You laughed and shook your head, bending down slightly to kiss Syo on the forehead. "Whatever, dear. You'll grow to love flying by the end of this trip."

The four of you ended up having a lovely trip, even though you all got lost in the IKEA in Stockholm. And wouldn't you know it, Syo finally got over his fear of heights! Toward the end of the trip, while you were all in Finland, you received a proposal. Needless to say, you had the best trip of your life.
Phew! This one's a long one! O.o I don't know how it got so lengthy. But I'm somewhat proud of it. :3 So. That's my accomplishment. I may or may not be able to write requests now. I don't know. I have to whiddle down the requests, sorry! D:
