You looked out around the small coffee shop you now worked at and smiled. It was cute, and you liked it a lot. You decided to turn on the radio you brought with you and played some Celtic music you liked. The store was empty, but you didn't care, you wanted to listen to music, and the music would also be inviting to new customers. The bell at the front door rang and you stood up straight to meet the person, "Hello! How are you today?" You asked as kindly as you could.
"I'm fine, and you?" The person was an Englishman by the accent, and he had the largest eyebrows you have ever seen! But that wasn't what drew you to him, it was his messy blond hair and emerald green eyes.
"I'm great, thanks for asking!" You replied happily, "What can I get for you?" You asked politely.
"Just some tea would be fine. I don't have a preference, anything works." The Englishman answered, smiling. "And whatever you would like to drink."
You blinked. He was such a gentlemen! "Alright, your total is 3.50" You said. "Thank you for getting me a drink, sir."
"It's no problem Miss. Just call me Arthur, alright?" Arthur smiled sweetly. "Come, sit with me. There's no one out today other than myself from what I saw anyway."
"Oh, alright." You blushed a little bit, "Thank you again, Arthur." You blinked, "Oh! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm (Name), (Name) (Last Name)." You smiled and put a tea bag in the boiling water and got your coffee, mixed with (favorite flavor) creamer and a little bit of sugar.
"It's no problem, (Name). I like that name, it fits you just right." Arthur said and led you to a table close to the window by the door. He took a sip of his tea and smiled, "It's very good, Miss (Name)."
You smiled back at him, "Thank you, and I just boiled the water and put the teabag in." You laughed a little bit, "Nothing special."
Arthur chuckled and took another drink of his tea, "And you did that quite well, I must say." He looked into your
(e/c) eyes and sighed a little.
"Is there something wrong?" You asked, concerned. Even though you just met him, you already liked Arthur.
"No, there's nothing wrong Love. I'm just thinking." Arthur replied, "I'm just daydreaming I guess." He smiled.
"Alright." You smiled back and played with your (h/c) hair a little, setting down your cup. You and Arthur talked for a while before you checked the clock. "Oh! It's almost time for me to shut down shop!" You sighed.
Arthur stood up, "That's too bad, I'll come back tomorrow then, alright Love?" He smiled and gave you a quick kiss on the cheek before leaving.
"Okay. See you tomorrow, Arthur." You smiled and held your cheek for a little bit before you closed up shop and left for your house. To you, that was your perfect cup of tea.
